Terms and Conditions

Starting 2023-12-18, important updates to our commission terms are taking place and these are applied by default to everyone using our commission services for printing, without any exceptions. These changes are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and a smoother collaboration process. Please take a moment to review the following key modifications.

• Cancellation Policy
  
  A 50% cancellation or downgrade (in quantity of items needed to be printed once the commission is started) fee applies to all commission orders. This fee is calculated based on the total agreed-upon price and is non-refundable.
  
  
• Design Ownership
  
  By submitting a design for commission, you authorize us to retain and dispose of the design at our discretion, regardless of whether the commission is fulfilled or cancelled. You acknowledge that the design may be used or modified as we see fit.
  
  
• Payment Terms
  
  Full payment must be made before any work on the commission begins. Failure to make payment may result in the cancellation of the commission.
  
  
• Artwork Retouching Fees
  
  Additional fees may apply if the commissioned artwork requires significant retouching or modifications beyond the initially agreed-upon scope. Any such fees will be communicated and agreed upon before the work is undertaken.
  
  
• Copyright and Usage Rights
  
  By default, while the initial commissioned artwork is owned by the client upon completion, the printer (us, BrickGuild Toys) retains the right to showcase the work in their portfolio, website, Instagram page / stories or promotional materials. Also, we reserve the right to liquidate extra parts of your commissions through our shop by any means we think is suitable. 
  
  
• Refund
  
  All sales are final, no refund possible once the items are received. Buyer is paying shipping to send parts, printer is paying shipping to ship the parts back. The customer is fully responsible for final proof and layout approval prior to the printing process. Any jobs that have been approved and/or or sent to press cannot be altered or changed due to the nature of the printing process, and no refund will be given.
  
  
• Liability 
  
  BrickGuild Toys shall not be liable for errors in a final product caused by any of the following reasons : wrong color order, misspelling, graphics, wrong file set up, sizing and scaling, incorrect or missing layers or objects in files, transparency, overprints errors, cracks on parts (especially for old colors such as Old Dark Gray, Old Light Gray, Sand Red, Olive etc), which in this case are LEGO brand torsos and heads mostly, finished product size, poor orientation or alignment.
  
  

By entering into a commission agreement, paying a final invoice or agreeing on a service trade process, you fully acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
